I work as the social media expert for Coffee of the world, a coffee retailer. I am starting this blog to create a space where Coffee of the world and our consumers can have an open line of communication. I am here to support the community and answer any questions.
Our company supports fair trade and we uphold an ethical supply chain. Recently it came to light that some of our beans were purchased through suppliers that do not uphold our standards, and we are working quickly to rectify the situation.
This blog will keep our consumers informed on our processes to fix our purchasing practices. We also intend to donate our time and 20% of our profits to support ethical coffee bean farmers.
We apologize to our consumers for our recent misstep, and will work diligently to regain your trust.
